The McDonough County FOP Lodge #280 held is annual “Buddy Program” on August 13 at WalMart. Deputies assisted over 90 area school children and their families with obtaining school supplies and clothing. Families enjoyed hot dogs and soda after the event. The event was made possible by donations from the community along with the following: Refreshment Services Pepsi, WalMart, Jackson Street Market, Wesley Methodist Church, McDonough County Sheriff’s Auxiliary, Colchester Police, Blandinsville Police, Bushnell Police, Colchester and Macomb Fire Departments.
