Senior Citizen Academy

The McDonough County Sheriff's Office in cooperation with the Bushnell Police Department will be hosting a Senior Citizens Police Academy. The Academy will be held on five consecutive Fridays beginning on March 6, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The Academy will be held at the Greenbrier Town Homes Community Room located at 770 West Hurst in Bushnell. The Academy will conclude with a graduation on April 13. The Spring 2009 Academy will cover topics such as drug activity awareness, frauds and scams, financial exploitation, and reporting crimes to the police. The Senior Academy is free and open to any area senior citizens. Further information can be obtained by calling the McDonough County Sheriff's Office at 309-833-2323.
